CGC is an official certification through the AKC that recognizes dogs who demonstrate good manners in the community. Earning a CGC title shows your dog’s ability to stay calm, polite, and responsive in everyday situations. It is a great goal for anyone who wants a well-behaved, confident companion and is a prerequisite for many therapy dog certifications.

CGC Prep Lessons $485

This six week program is designed to help you and your dog confidently prepare for the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. Over five weeks of personalized one-on-one private lessons, we’ll work through all ten test items. The final week includes your official CGC test.

CGC Testing $35

As an approved AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, I offer official CGC testing for dogs who are ready to demonstrate their skills. The test covers all ten test items required by the American Kennel Club.

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program $485

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program is the perfect way to set your puppy up for lifelong success. Designed for puppies under 1 year old, (must be fully vaccinated) this six week course focuses on socialization, basic manners, and confidence building in a group class setting (class sizes are 3-6 people.) This program lays the foundation for a well-mannered dog , and ends with an official AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy evaluation.
